Who needs a visa?
Nationals of 167 countries and 2 special regions can enter Indonesia for a maximum of 30 days, visa-free.
Travelers can enter visa-free for 30 days* for the following purposes:
- Leisure and tourism
- Family
- Social
- Art and Cultural
- Government visits
- Giving a lecture or attending a seminar
- Attending a meeting held by the Head office or Representative office in Indonesia
- While in transit on the way to another country

All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.
How to reach Bali
If you are coming to Bali from outside Indonesia, several airlines offer non-stop flights to and from Denpasar (Bali’s capital city). International Ngurah Rai Airport welcomes thousands of visitors each day and there are numerous direct flights between Bali and other parts of the globe.
There are direct flights to Denpasar from all major Indonesian cities. Schedules vary but most routes run daily. Some airlines to choose from include Garuda and Citi Link (domestic), and AirAsia (international).
Non-direct flights are usually through Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Tokyo and Sydney.
If you are coming from within Indonesia, there are direct flights to Denpasar from all the major cities. The schedules vary and most of them are available daily. Some domestic airlines to choose include: Garuda and Citi Link or international airlines such as Airasia that caters various routes within the country.
