The ‘Tajen’ debate
Tajen is a Balinese word for cock fight – it is a traditional game that takes place for ceremonial purposes. No, we are not going to have a cock fight at the conference, but instead, get ready for some heavy debating in this session!
Following the House of Commons-style debate, we are inviting everyone to join in.
A moderator will introduce several statements around food and agriculture. Each round, participants are encouraged to use their most convincing arguments to persuade others to join their side. The one who convinces the most people to change sides wins!
